    Wiring voltage display to sabvoton

Hi all, I'm running a sabvoton 72150, I used to have a TFT screen but blew that so have been running it headless for a few years now. I recently picked up one of these LCD voltage displays and I'm keen to wire it in, I can wire directly to the battery but then it would be always on, I tried...

Weird issue with Sabvoton 72150 or something else?

Yes we have system voltage, its between LVC and HVC. It shows throttle voltage however the throttle voltage doesn't change as I turn the throttle even though the wheel is spinning correctly, maybe I have an issue there? I might redo the throttle wires and see if that helps. Thanks for the help!

Weird issue with Sabvoton 72150 or something else?

I have an issue where my bike completely dies, the controller will light up and show no errors in the app however there will be zero power when turning the throttle, this has happened twice now, the first time it magically started working again the next day with no issues, fast forward a few...

    Sabvoton SVMC72150 TROUBLESHOOTING

Hey did you ever resolve this? my 750c also died a while back so I just bypassed the display and use the bike without one, however it would be good to know the voltage while I'm riding again, was also thinking about getting the UKC1 to replace it.

    bad charger or bad bms?

Hi all, I've had this 72v battery for a couple of years now and it goes great https://em3ev.com/shop/em3ev-72v-20s10p-rectangle-battery-pack-24-5ah-29-5ah/ However about a year ago it stopped balance charging and just continues past the 84v fully charged point. I've tested the charger with a...

    Show me your front light(s)

Bought this one because it plugs straight into my 72v battery, does the job nicely https://lunacycle.com/fisher-fab-house-led-e-bike-light/

Tire help for 17" and 19" moped rims

I've emailed em3ev asking them to change my order to the 17" 1.60 rims, that seems to be the way to go for street by the looks of it, having lighter wheels is a bonus plus my workmate races motorbikes and reckons he has piles of 17" tires I can have for free, all round win! :thumb:

Tire help for 17" and 19" moped rims

Hi all, Sorry if this has all been covered, I've done a bunch of research and am still scratching my head a little, the thread (19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels) has some good info in it but I wonder if much has changed in the last few years. So I've put in an order for the QS205 in...

What are some good 3000W hub motors for 26 inch rims?

I was using the edge 1500w on a mountain bike which did the job nicely, closer to 50mph top speed with a 72v battery (with ferro fluid and hubsinks), the 12fet controller didn't last long so went 18fet, I'm still using the edge motor and controller 2000 miles later but on an EEB frame now.

"Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

Just wondering if anyone can help out with some spoke specs for this hub, I bought it already made up in a MTX33 rim, I've just noticed that I've broken a spoke so better order some new ones, I think the current spokes might be sapim 13G/14G, is 13G the spoke and 14G the nipple? anyone have some...

Building an EEB with a QS 205... Help needed

I purchased an EEB frame from EM3EV and have been commuting 5 days a week on it for around 8 months now, its awesome and hasn't failed me yet. I would have preferred the futr alpha frame but its a bit too expensive, although if I was building again I'd probably suck it up and buy the alpha. I'm...

"Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

I ended up frying the phase wires on my edge motor pushing about 95amps for some long runs, got some good speed 50mph+, have never had the front wheel want to come off the ground like other people mention but maybe thats because its in a 26" rim, I put some new wiring on and installed hubsinks...

    EEB parts and support info

Yip thats the one with 30Q cells, think it sags around 2-3v when gunning it at 95a so not too bad at all, I've never had the battery warm up on me yet, its always the motor and controller that are scorching before the battery gets a chance to get warm.

That battery box looks like it would fit fine, the em3ev battery is 140mm wide and presses firmly against the side panels but they will give slightly for that box to fit, I might have a look at getting one as well. I've just got the battery sitting in there with padding around it at the moment...

What would recommend, would something like the powervelocity 24fet be a good choice? Albeit a tad expensive.

Hub motor selection guidance: 3kw unbranded vs 5kw QS

Yeah there's no way you'll limit it to 3kw with that setup, 3kw sounds powerful but isn't much really, I've got an eeb with the smaller edge 1500w hub and I push that over 6kw every ride for taking off at a good speed in front of traffic at the lights, even then I long for some more watts on...

    EEB parts and support info

No issues at all with the wires clearing the rotor although I'm running the 35mm Edge motor, maybe the wider stator Mxus and QS motors have a little less room to play with..

    EEB parts and support info

Been a while since anyone's posted in here, thought I'd do an update, finally got around to installing the factory stand, it went on without a problem without having to move the screw position as suggested earlier, it slots nicely under the swingarm with ample clearance for the crank to go...

    Noob EEB Enduro Build

I thought the same about the blue seal as well! If you look at the rear shock you'll see its got the same slidey rubber piece as well. I also used a rubber hammer to tap the top brace off :)

    Another Stealth bomber (clone) build

Just finished my build a few days ago, went with the em3ev 30ah 72v 30Q battery, its a very nice battery, have yet to put it through its paces though.
