    Vertical play on new frame???

    Thank you for explaining, that was very helpful. It's the upper shock mount that has play, the holes in the mounting flanges are 0.2 mm larger than inside diameter of the axle bush. On the lower shockmount there's no play and the mounting holes are the same diameter as the axle bush.

    What if they're already tightened? Is it possible to tighten them too much? My previous bikes never had play in the shock even when the bolts were not fully tightened...

    A set of Halo T2 wheels from Triton Cycles UK, what the heck are these cuts in the rims? I guess they are weld seams? One of them is pretty deep. Will this be okay?

    Thank you. Good to hear, I talked to a guy some time ago, who said the same as you, that's how its should be. The china frame however didnt have that. Good to hear that the Vector frames are made properly :)

    Addy, could you describe what it was like to put the swing arm on? Does it have shims on both sides of the "tabs" on the swing arm or just on the outside?

    Are Vector frames good, are you 100% guaranteed to get a frame without geometry faults? or is it likely to be faulty like the china frames? When I say geometry faults, I mean manufacturing errors, bolts and holes that doesnt line up with each other. Also, does it take 26 in the back?
