    Cyclone 3000w - Is it worth making custom mounts to mount in the triangle?

    Just like the title, is it worth making custom mounts to mount the motor in the triangle? It seems like better ground clearance, and more central weight? I could tie to to the water bottle bosses also for some more stiffness. Will be mostly a commuter, but some trails also. 26" hardtail MTB...

    Critique my Build/Plan

    OK I would like some input here! Jumping back into the eBike things after a number of years. Previously had a 250W 24v front hub motor (boring...). Frame is a Kona Cindercone, old aluminium hardtail. Had Hayes hydro disks, currently a 9 speed. Needs a fork eventually, its just a fixed steel one...
