    Zemake integrated hub

Nope, I think the throttle is a typical 'bolt it on because people ask for it' feature. Basically, if the wheel rotates beyond a certain speed the motor is engaged, like it or not. I think it works like a latch control: you can increase the power with it, but it stays pegged at that level. The...

    Zemake integrated hub

Has anyone stumbled over this kit in practical experience? I bought one with a 20" rear wheel, for a daft BMX mash-up to make a 'ghetto' urban e-bike. It came with no instructions and info seems non-existent...

Unknown firmware blob from an all-in-one hub kit?

I'm sorry to hear you didn't get a reply to your query. Aside from that, given your post is pushing three years old, have you anything to add about the kit and it's foibles? I see they're on sale in Aliexpress, and I'm looking for something cheap to convert yet another bike (I've got two...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Ah, thanks. That's what I had dialled in, but reduced it according to the answers previously. Your answer makes more sense in light of the comment in the spec with alludes to the rated motor power. Right, laptop and cables out again!

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

    Thanks @maximusdum, that's a big help.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Thanks so much for the reply! So, more or less, this is an estimate of the real capacity of the battery, not the 'dumb' Watthour figure created from multiplying out the nominal manufacturer specifications?

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Basic question, hopefully quickly answered: I have a 48v 11.6Ah battery feeding a 48v 750w TSDZ2 with VLCD5. I'm just trying 20.1C for the first time, and have already reprogrammed the unit successfully. A bit too successfully, it's an awful big performance leap from stock so I'm going to dial...

Pedelec response curve - cheapo kit

Thanks - that also makes a lot of sense, and is borne out by our experience - it's a fixed level of whoooosh from the assist. The kit we have doesn't require the PAS sensor to function. I know because when I recently serviced the BB I forgot to reconnect it and the unit still fired up under...

Pedelec response curve - cheapo kit

That sounds like the simplest choice, engaging sooner would be worth trying. Thanks!

Pedelec response curve - cheapo kit

Hi - forgive me if this has been covered, I've searched a few times and couldn't see anything of help... Anyway, a while back I fitted up my wife's cheap MTB with a cheap rear hub kit - one of the typically low-priced ones from eBay - 36v 250w - the kind with the controller limiter than can be...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

You know what, it does seem odd. For me the search results fell off a cliff yesterday. I /can/ see one or two today but not the dozens that were there. If I'd installed a chrome extension or something that blocked sponsored items (I've seen this with Amazon) then I'd understand it. I'm no noob...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Many thanks - you saved me a lot of time there. This thing with aliexpress seemingly dropping many 750w listings is scratching at the back of my head. It's like a situation where stocks have been wound down with no continuation expected. 2019 to see new versions? ;))

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks, very helpful. One question: the recycle-ebikes people boast that they sell 18A controllers. I see PSPower state 15A. Should I be bothered by this?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

--- as an aside ---- I've just tried to opt in for a 48V 750w TSDZ2 and no-one on Aliexpress seems to list it today. I only reviewed the options three days ago and there were plenty of sellers. Can anyone else bear witness to this? I'm in the UK. I was going to order from recycles-ebike.com but...
