    Thanks for the help Amberwolf. It's mowing well. You are probably right about corroded terminals. I filed and sanded all of them shiny and bright.

    I put it back together and mowed for an hour with no problems. I have replacement batteries on charge just in case.

    I have installed 2 Mophorn 3 phase 2000w motors as blade motors on my ride on electric mower. They need to run at a constant speed . Can I do this without using a throttle epoxyed to full speed ?

    I'm using 2 Unite 1020, 48 volt, 1000 watt DC brushed motors for the cutting blades on my Ariens Amp riding mower. The brushes have worn completely , ruining the commutator, in about 200 hours of mowing. Is this common ? Thanks John
