    I this was posed a while back but I was wondering if you could do a quick how-to on this? Where did you put your diode? Maybe even a picture or two of the section of cable where you put the diode.

    Cool thanks. I am trying to decide to get a 36v battery (~$300) or a 48v contoller (~$100). Nice build, I hope to have mine up and running soon a well.

    BBS01 Controller Upgrade 36V to 48V

    I am looking at doing this same thing, I have a BBS01B and want to make it 48v. The problem is I can't seem to find a 48v 350w controller. I read somewhere that a 48v 500w controller is the same once you adjust some settings. Is that true? If not where did you find a 48v 350w controller?

    What battery are you using? I have a bafang 350w motor and a friend gave me a 48v ~12 amp battery but when I put them together I get an error code 7 (high voltage). I am trying to decide if I need to get a 48v controller or a 36v battery...
