    OH! my tape build is of LESS utility than your smaller and nicer packs Im now guessing.. thats for sure.. pfff BTW - Im still using my taped pack everyday.. and lately its -20celsius..

    Ya this is most definately true.. but going with the data from lygte-info the cells at 7A reach 32 celsius and the electrical tape is rated for 80 celsius.. a 7A cell load across my pack which lets say would be 11S6P - is approx. 1850watts.. Which is atleast 2x the legal limit in some places..

    A good gasket material is called Fish paper.. and should be used anyplace a wire is in contact with the cell can fibreglass instead of wood.. might work if the sharp edges can be filed down as to not cut the electrical tape thanks tomjasz anybody could find the many other thread posts for...

    thankyou Punx0r If we were in summer and hot weather .. the tape slipping is probably my main concern.. I have been looking at the many heavy duty duct tapes available.. However using this much tape is only temporary.. I would like to transition into using heat shrink and fibre resin wrap..
