    Skip scoot controller help

You are amazing for taking the time to reply with such good information 😍. I tested with a couple of my julet connectors but it seems like they are proprietary. I think what I’ll do is just get a generic cheap-o controller then cut the plugs from the old controller and move em over to the new...

Your totally right. I’ll look into a new controller. Got any recommendations for something with similar connectors? Trying to minimize manual labor costs.

    Skip scoot controller help

Wow you rock. Thank you very much for the detailed reply. The 5v throttle is present. I was able to get the motor to unlock by giving one of the pins bat pos but the other pins don’t seem to do anything. I think your right about needing an ok signal somewhere. If I need to un pot the other 50...

    Skip scoot controller help

A customer purchased a truckload of these skip scooters(called skip aka Hellbiz to verify purchase already). We are hoping to get em back on the road without replacing the controllers. Has anyone seen this before? Can you point me in the right direction with regards to what wires need to be...

Where’s the best place in a motor to add a thermistor? In the middle of the coils or closer to the magnet like where the halls are?

    Bluetooth adapter for kelly controllers

Prices are like $45 now. Would be awesome if I could use something cheaper. Wonder if it’s a matter of flashing the correct firmware on the bluetooth adapter…

19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

Finally got my rear tire changed. The washer trick worked like magic and I was able to reuse my spokes from my old bicycle rim. Thank you all. A few tips for those new to motorcycle rims and tires: use tire lube to make the job like a million times easier. It helps avoid puncturing the tube...

    Adjustable voltage ebike charger

Oh interesting. Would they be ok for charging lithium cells? Do I need to worry about the switching thing(mentioned above)?

    Adjustable voltage ebike charger

Good point. Yeah lipos are no joke. I have some 36v ebike chargers already so I’ll use those for the non adjustable chargers then maybe get a Grin Technology type charger if I can find it for a good price.

    Adjustable voltage ebike charger

Ok so this is what I am thinking now. Let me know if you see a problem with the solution. Series up one or two 10s 2 amp chargers along with a 0-42v 2a adjustable charger(seems cheaper and easier to find). That way I can charge anything from 0-126v by simply removing some chargers in series...

    Adjustable voltage ebike charger

Oh yeah charging random battery packs that I make. Mostly 3.65 nominal lithium packs. Wonder if a meanwell power supply will work. I have a nice fluke meter and could probably dial in the volts exactly. Or would I even need to? I think I do...

    Adjustable voltage ebike charger

Anyone know of a good adjustable charger? I am looking for something that can do 42-100.8v or I’ll settle for 42-84v. Thanks buds.
