    are there bigger geared hub motors?

    I do it. I built a 2WD bike. Got the kit from cell man on here. Just used 2 500 watt geared motors. Had them make s slow wind for ultimate torque. My bike goes pretty much anywhere and I live in the steep cascade mountain range.

    Does anyone run a combined pack. If so how do you handle the low side of the pack for voltage?? I can see running a 6s A123 pack than adding lipo for a little more voltage, but I dont have any good ideas on how to cut the pack off.     All good ideas, and I even own my own aluminum welder. I did what you suggested but with a steel insert and epoxed it. That one motor has not had a problem since but it cost 200$ to have the parts machined. Can't reweld this one cause I cant get the threaded part off the cassett. Really for 20...

    I can do a scooter size. Top speed 20 mph. Weight will be 500lbs. Steep- imagine your moster hill for hours. My thing= it has to look exactly like a bicycle, as close as possible. Dont need any attention. Here is what I do. I know you have tried alot of different motors.
