    juiced RCS Torque Sensor

Well it does affect it. Weirdly. I wonder at what amperage and watt does a 1000w or anything with high current delivery begin the spin-out in the hanger and frame? I don’t look forward to it since rewinding a burnt bafang. I can do hall sensors like I work in Shanghai now. 3 second max solder...

    juiced RCS Torque Sensor

So I’ve upgraded to 1000w from 750w Bafang hub motor AND I modded the Hanger “washer” to 1/4 inch thick steel, filed out for the flats. I made a small torque arm! lol. My question is how much this “torque arm” will affect the actual Torque Sensor? You know what I mean?

Anyone using BAFANG G062.1000 1000W geared hub motor?

I take back what I said about it being a 750. I took mine apart as well and it says the same damn thing. (I have a 750w and a 1000w) Here’s the kicker, it looks like the windings are the same as a 750w BUT I DO NOT KNOW unless I rip out the wiring which I do not plan on doing until I smoke it or...

    Hub Motor Rewind

Almost forgot! Getting a good pusher made is also something to consider. I made one out of hardwood and one out of nylon car panel tools. They won’t gouge the enameled wire and help to bend them to your will.

    Hub Motor Rewind

When you start talking 40awg and such… Yikes. 20awg is a reasonable wire to wind. 18awg is a pain. I’ve got it done with my 750w Bafang but it was time consuming as hell. Slow and steady wins. Good luck! Make sure to plan your turns and get the right insulating wire wrap. Silicone fiberglass...

    That’s a 750w dude. Sorry.

[attachment=0]134EBD08-F806-4821-911A-FB24E52D3FB3.jpeg[/attachment Bafang 750w hub motor with burnt windings. I have 24g wire and 18g magnet wire. Can I use Kapton tape? Looks like I can! The magnet wires are what I have and I want to use the one wire gauge that will get me a decent top speed...
