I'd like to start using this dual suspension 26" dinosaur for my 25-30km daily commute.
Mostly flat terrain, I'm 80kg and looking at continuous max speed of 20mph/35kmh, average speed 30kmh and a full charge range of 35-40km.

Mid-drive or hub?
All in the box Bafang kit from Amazon/Ebay or alternative option that's not overly complicated for a newbie to build?
A friend of mine has already built several e-rollers, e-skateboard and 2 e-foils, so he can help me a bit of needed.
Thanks in advance!

Hey, welcome to the forum!

If you have mostly flat terrain then a hub would do you very well and have the highest efficiency and therefore longest range out of a given battery.

You would probably be quite happy with a small geared motor.

This would be the top shelf of all small geared motors right now ( up to 88% efficiency ):
SX2 Standard Wind

Bafang stuff is allright, a bit above average quality, hard to go wrong, very average on efficiency and power to weight ratio.

You will probably regret buying some no name motor off amazon/ebay. That's the first mistake most people make when getting into this hobby.
