you can use just one of the BMSs that is installed on one of the packs. tie the B- and B+ terminals of the two packs together, connect the two packs through the sense wires so each cell is parallel with the same cell in the other pack, and then use the P- connection for the motor and the P+ is the red wire from the top of the two packs tied in parallel. then they both operate together as one pack, charging and discharging.

charging two identical packs in parallel is possible if the BMS does not have a separate charging lead and charging mosfet.

in that case you have to isolate the two batteries from each other at the drains (P-) when charging from the same charger.

Dog man Dan--- What he means is install a switch or plug between the connection at P- between the two packs. Then flip the switch or unplug that wire before charging. This way you do not have to use two chargers, and both packs will charge and balance from the same charger on one of the packs.

If the pack charges and discharges through the same plug, then you can just parallel the packs at that plug,, and charge both at the same time through that paralleled lead, and both will charge, and both will balance.
