I am using Chris Nafis design:
He has kindly published all his 3D print files for the connectors that make it easy to assemble the tracking frame without welding.
I am using Rich Solar 80w CIGS panels that are resistant to shading. I use two panels so it is easy to disassemble for transport with the panels going into a snowboard bag.
His design is based on the Burley Coho Trailer which is quite robust.
He has a DIY tracking system but I am using a WST03-2 tracker. I'll use Renogy Boost MPPT controllers that can use bluetooth remote monitoring from the cockpit.
I will use multiple batteries with a parallel battery switch to prevent problems.
I will be pulling the trailers with Zhaosheng CEF50 eMTB's because they are based on the new Bafang M820 motor with a build weight of 40lbs and they can handle the Burley thru axle.
It is a work in progress but I have one trailer just about finished.
