Hi, I have tested my battery and found it does not put out 40v directly on the + and - terminals. So, I looked all around the forum and youtube and it seems the non-G version of the Greenworks battery doesn't put out 40v without connecting the pins in series somehow with a diode? However every link I find on here with a pic is dead.
My brand new weedeater seems to have come with this kind. I have seen one post where someone posted a pic on how to activate the 40v but the link was also dead of course. I don't want to wreck the battery as I am just using this battery temporarily to power a bike. I do have some parts laying around if I need a diode.

Ok after more careful reading I figured it out, if anyone else wants to know you just jump the + (positive) with the "horseshoe ohm" beside it (pin 4 and 3) and then you get full power to + (positive) and - (negative) .

i know this thread is old but just wondering
does the omega and positive, (pin 3-4) horseshoe connection need to be constant or just triggered initially?
