Kelly Controller + Astro 3220 ???

If I were to add sensors (hall or optical) and one of Burt's timing adjustment boards, would this Kelly controller work okay with my 5-turn Astro 3220? http://kellycontroller.com/kbl4830124v-48v300abldc-controllerwith-regen-p-257.html I have a hv160 but am afraid to blow it. I would like to have something that will work at lower rpm too. -Damcard

I assume I would need to get one of the higher speed options too. "Up to 40,000 electric RPM standard. Optional high speed 70,000 ERPM, and ultra high speed 100,000 "
