Anybody have expertise linking a 48v 12aH battery in a back pack to a mid drive with a breakaway connector ? Thanks

I use a backpack battery on my mtb and use XT90 connectors you can see it underneath the front of the saddle.
I haven’t seen any magnetic connectors though.

Magnetic plugs attract steel swarf, which is conductive. None for me, thanks.

Doesn't this invite arcing when it breaks away?
Better than ripping the wires out, shorting them together, and starting a fire.

Oh, I don't know. If there is a fire, I know why it doesn't work, and I don't need to spend time trying to diagnose it.
