Hi

Anyone had similar issue with cycle analyst and sevcon gen 4?

When I put the shunt between the B- and C- the controller shuts down with 'Motor over current' and 'Current control' fault above ~15kW load or at higher RPM. If I remove the shunt everything works perfectly again. The shunt is a 300A 0.25 mOhm

i don't know what "b-" and "c-" are on your system.

but the shunt is intended to go between the battery's negative output, and the controller's battery negative input.

if you aren't putting it there, it won't be able to monitor the current from the battery into the controller.
