Hi all,
Does anyone know if Yamaha's current battery offerings are compatible - at a communications level - with older model PW series motors?
I have a 2016 X0R40 PW and would like to buy a new spare battery dealer-direct for one of the Moro bikes (PW-X3).
Here in Canada it isn't possible to get the PASB4 and PASB5 batteries anymore.
If they are using the same communications with the PASB6 then it should be fine, I think. Looks like I would need a new charger also. OK.
Physical format / wiring plug don't matter to me, I have a cargo bike and the battery doesn't go in the frame so I have options to fit other sizes.
