Bafang 750W to 1kW or 2kW with stock controller ?

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to program the in-board controller for only one level in order to get 1kW or even 2kW for just some seconds in order to get a powerful acceleration.
I mean put the limit current to 40A ( 40*48v = 2kW) and put maximum 15A for every levels except the last one.
I consider that the battery pack can supply 40A...

I know it could be possible with another controller (with damage risk etc... etc...) but with the stock one ?

Are you talking about the BBS02? You can't change the programming to get more than 25 A, which is 1.2 kW. The controller may already be programmed to provide full current under throttle, so if it's just for a few seconds I'd just max out the throttle and when you're done accelerating, let go of the throttle and go back to PAS operation.

I'd read (and post in) the BBS02 programming thread if you want to pursue this.
