For those who are curios as to how I made my side panels....

1 - start out by creating a template. Cardboard is a wonderful tool for this.

2 - Got my .125" ABS plastic Sheet from a local plastic shop.
Use the cardboard template and trace the pattern onto the plastic sheet and then cut out.
After sides are cut out, I used a belt sander to smooth out the rough edges.

3 - From the local plastics shop, I purchased a strip heater as so

3A - scribe lines onto the plastic , where you want the bend. Lay strip heater out flat and lay plastic onto strip heater.
Notice I use some old moulding and clamped everything down.
Once plastic is soft, I bend to the proper angle.

4 - Once all the bends are made, your good to go.

5 - One of the panels, I added a little extra material to create my switch housing.
A little bend here and a little bend there and drill a hole.

6 - Get some Velcro strip w/adhesive backing. The stuff I found was about .750" wide x 3' long and cut as needed.

Not much more to it.
This seems to be working great so far.
Since my batteries and stuff are attached to the frame, the Velcro is really only holding the weight of the plastic.
I'm confident that the adhesive will hold up too, but we'll see how it all does in the summer, when things get hot.
