My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

Holy shit thank you. I didn't found it at first cause they put a big mess of hotglue just over it, the piece in mine is white and the dial is plastic, I managed to tune it to 54.6/7v, curiously, any less than that causes the charger to plug in/out of current with audible clicks when not plugget...

My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

I finally managed to get a reading (I just drill 2 little holes to the charging port and stick the moltimeter thingys trough them while charging) The carger puts out 55.3v Is it in ''normal'' range or should I ask for refund? https://youtu.be/fXpBM0BQ8ns

My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

The multimeter finally arrives at my home, but I am unable to test the charger... I can test the battery and it shows the exact charge that the SW900 shows, wich is concerning cause that would mean that the charger is overcharging them + the BMS don't give a damn. When I try to test the...

My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

The vendor says 13 serial 5 paralel 21700 cells and BMS voltage cutt of on 54.6v and 39v. So, if the SW900 is right, the BMS has failed.

Am I an idiot for using V-brakes?

Disk brakes are for rich kids, not for road warriors. A disk brake is more prone to failure, it needs periodical maintenance, change the oil etc... the pads last less and can be contaminated and shit, and the disk can break or deform, also on the Mad Max you will struggle to find replacements...

My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

54.6, 4 amp, Made in China... those are the only indications besides the input voltage and a warning. No way to adjust anything, it's the charger that comes with the pack. I don't have multimeter, the SW900 seems accurate, at least it displays the same every time, but it may be not. Is it so...

My 48v pack show 55.2v fully charged on SW900, should I worry?

Hi lads, I just finished my 2nd charge after dropping to 45.5v the pack, cause tomorrow I plan a large ride, and now the LCD SW900 shows a charge of 55.2v. Suposetly the charging should stop at 54.6. I remember the first time I charge them right away with multiple re-plugging to allow BMS to...

My new e-bike with 3d printed shit.

This is my new e-bike, I have done 2 before, one with a 3000w lunacycle mid drive that was stolen from my garage, a 1000w geared rear hub one that got the wheel runing faster than the bike itself just before I hit the ground and have to bring the mess back home 10km on foot (aah... the good...

    1000w or 1500w? Power/range differences

The red thingy... I have to remove a good chunk of it because the weird shape on the arm. I plan on buying a 3mm steel or titanium plate and use it has template, but I will need to work with less than apropiate tools for that, and I will probably spend hours making holes and shaping with a file.

    Delivered Amp configuration on SW900

I see... but, can the cells go allahu akbar mode and burn my balls if I do that? I have seen plenty of videos of e-bike suicides for too much amp and I fear that could be my destiny if I dare to dream about the power of gods.

Efficient V-brake pads por heavy hub motor?

I installed a 1500w rear hub, and my V-brake can't even block the wheel in low speeds no matter how strong I press. I don't like disc brakes, I know they are far better, but they are more prone to failure and requires maintenance, change the oil every year etc... I have them and I hate them...

    1000w or 1500w? Power/range differences

The V1 is indeed the cheapest, but honestly I see all of them as the same crappy concept, if the wheel wants to jump out, the best I can hope for those things is that it will retain the wheel to some degree and hopefully prevent the cable twisting destruction like in the last time, so I can go...

    1000w or 1500w? Power/range differences

Thank you all, well I finally choose a 1500w rear hub and I just finished mounting everything. The bike has a aluminium frame and already destroyed another hub motor in the past, when the wheel goes upside a hill out of their own destroying the cables, that was a geared 1000w with a lot of...

    1000w or 1500w? Power/range differences

Hi pipol. I want to make a e-bike, I live in very forest/hills terrain, so I wanted a bafang or something mid drive to play with the gear ratio, but sadly I can't install that type of kits in my bike due to weird shape of the frame, so I'm limited to a rear hub. I then search for a geared rear...
