    JK-BMS JK-BD6A24S10P, Strange noise, broken?

My newly bought JK-BMS from Aliexpress makes strange noise (like white noise) right after activation and the noise stayes till deactivation. It is pretty loud too. Anybody know if that is normal? https://c.gmx.net/@1074245938958041378/Jw45dmaZTk-zwxlmpp1a9Q

    bms bluetooth connecting problem

That is the problem. Too many people around not thinking twice about what they do and demand from others. Dont take it personally, you are just one of many, as you so correctly stated. Not even thinking about what I wrote or having the guts too simply admit that I might be right. In that...

    bms bluetooth connecting problem

So why did you not put that very evidently important information in the header. Do you think all bluetooth bms use the same app or behave the same? The header of posts need to be concise and informative, so other users can easily search for answers in forums. That is the very basic idea of...

    bluetooth BMS?

I have a ANT 16s 100A BMS. The problem is, the bluetooth goes offline after a while even if there is a constant draw of current. To wake it up, I have to manually use a extra 3V-cell and connect it with the two designated wires. That is most unconvinient. Anyone knows how to solve this issue...

    bluetooth BMS?

I will answer my question myself. To calibrate the current reading, you have to adjust "Current Sensor Range" accordingly in the ParameterConfig. I just about doubled the setting from 100 to 220. Will adjust further if I have it on my lab bench and have better meters.

    bluetooth BMS?

I have a ANT BMS and it works. It is a 7-16 S BMS and I connected a 9S-LiFePo-Battery. Only fault it has, the App does only show half of the actual input current and therefore only half the input power. Is this a popular fault or do I need to post pictures? What could be the reason for this?

Mostly one will find electrolyte containing LiPF6 in a lithium battery. That is where the fluorine comes from.

best fireproof case/ system or DIY to store/charge lipo liion safest way

@Hillhater As a general rule for the hobbyist. My advise stands. For the rest. Why repeating what I wrote just before? WATER IS NOT THE MOST EFFECTIVE OPTION for containing a lipo fire for a amateur/hobbyist that lacks the equipment and experience to do it.

best fireproof case/ system or DIY to store/charge lipo liion safest way

See what I mean? Some people can be helped. My intention was to point out that fighting a lithium fire with water is generally a bad idea, especialy for the hobbyist  Yes drowning out a small lithium fire in a big barral of water works. That is a scenario I described in my post. It...

best fireproof case/ system or DIY to store/charge lipo liion safest way

Hi folks, I mainly read in this part of the forum, sometimes I shake my head, sometimes I am intrigued by the geniuity of some mechanical solutions and ideas some people have. When I shake my head, I seldom comment. People mostly have to make bad experience themself. Most cant be helped by good...

What kind of connector is this?

I read the specs of several JST connectors. It is most likely a JST PA Connector. Not the usual typ PH which has also a 2.0mm pitch. The PA are hard to get. Crap!

What kind of connector is this?

Hi, I got a BMS from China. I expected JST 2,54mm connectors but got smaller ones. The distance between the pins is about 1,77mm. So it is not a JST PA (2.00 mm (0.079 in)), not a JST PH (2.00 mm (0.079 in)) and not a JST ZH (1.50 mm (0.059 in)). Anyone got a name for those kind of...
