Gogoro has connectors at the bottom and the seat holds the battery down. Yamaha Neo's has the connectors on the side at the bottom but you manually has to close/open the spring loaded lock mechanism that holds the batteries down.

That is what i want to see. And other solutions like that happening at the top.

I have not seen any information provided. Only thing i have seen is this device that can read the data from the BMS. Which is nice. But would rather know how to do it with my computer

How can a computer read data fra a BMS that can communicate via RS485? The BMS can provide data such as SOC, SOH, Cell voltage etc. Let's say i get an USB-RS485 converter then i guess there can be communication. But how does the computer get the data?

Does anyone know of eletrical appliances that might have such a resistor i can use like the 1 ohm 20 watt resistor in the video?
