Looks like you have a solid plan, well thought out and researched, with proven components to meet your well-defined goals. The bike should turn out very well. I'll be watching. :)

I love a clean look, but I love to hear what's going on around me more. I bet that's what he's going for. As always, personal preference. Besides, this way there can be music thumping as the crowd gathers around the parked bike to stare, gawk, and drool. :lol:

Here's a cheap-o jig I finally got around to making. Perforated steel tube and 3/8" bolts. It's designed so one size will slide into the next one up, for adding more lengths later. This much of a set up cost me about $60 at the local hardware store, including a bunch...
My first thought was the Doctorbass torque arms, complete with a derailleur hanger, but after popping over to the sale thread it looks like he's having trouble producing them now (his machine shop declined to do them anymore.)...
Just doing a quick look through Utah Trikes...
A basic frame kit is $900
A cheap trike is $1000
A decent trike is $1500-$2000 (and prices go up steeply from there.)
Their KMX + Falco motorized trike is ~$3000
None of those have suspension.
You are likely right on target, IMO.

The rest of the bike... not so much. There are some geometry issues: front-rear alignment 'not-quite-right'; rake and trail off just enough that the steering is 'not-quite-right.' Neither is dangerous or floppy, but after awhile of riding, I'm left with...
