I also suggest Amped. They fixed all the Nine Continents problems in their new kits. Also patented the disk brake adapter. The DD are a good motor and from Lightcycle's reviews the geared motor rocks as well. I think the warranty thing is about liability insurance. I would talk to them directly...

Thx Dogman Ill check out the world wide bike's kit.. Im on a limited income at the moment, alot of layoffs etc. Besides Im not too keen on the thread on disk brakes. I hear they never really work and always have to be adjusted. Ill stick with caliper brakes for now.

I agree a good product sells itself :D :D :D :D I too am sick of it. I normally browse a couple times a week but lately it just turns me off. I also would like to suggest checking IP addresses as I would imagine some retailers are logging in under multiple user names.

This is the approx size of a 1000W motor. It is simply bad business tactics to flat out lie about the power of an e-bike. Just my opinion. I have a golden motors 1000W kit and they simply shunted the speed controller to accept higher currents. Why cant people just be honest?

This is funny. They raised the current in a 500W motor to appear to be a 1000W motor. I posted this on the E+ forums and it was deleted immediately. A true 1000W motor would weigh about 35 lbs. Any 500W motor can be a 1000W motor simply by increasing the current like BMC, E+, Golden motors. Bad...

Danny is saying on his forums that he tried to work a deal with bafang but they were more interested in selling their product than manufacturing and he stumbled on these guys that manufacture only and modified a 350W to 400W which apparently has so much power that they are modifying the speed...

I use the amped bikes torque arm. It fits all kits and there is no need to clamp a wrench or add an oddly angled torque arm to your bike

I think at this point everyone knows golden motors is about the worst kit, the worst battery you can buy. Not to mention the complete lack of customer service or complete lack of caring about anything but making a buck. Kudos to ebikekit batteries. IMHO golden motors is about the worst people...

Yeah there's definitely some major govt problems right now. AIG spent all of our money! I vote myself in to regulate these guys! So whats the difference between the ping pack and the ebk battery? Besides the duct tape obviously.
