    is it correct that the cromotor has a drop ot of 165mm? so it does not fit into a normal frame, right? TheCrown has a drop out of 140mm and it fits in a normal frame, right?

    i dont think there will be any big issues with the spokes or the spoke holes... Crystalyte tested this design very carefully and there was no issue with the spokes or the spoke holes... the rotor is made out of aluminum...and i dont think there will be some issues about it... we will see who...

    i must agree with neptronix...there is so much unused slot space left on this picture of the TC stator...looks like 15% unused slot i hope that it is because this pictures shows the very first prototype and that the production batch will have more copper in it and the slots will be filled...

    Crystalyte is going to use 12g spokes for this baby...so, what do you worry about? Yes...the spokes are special...but i dont see any problems about it...it is sooooooo easy to bend a spoke to the shape that you want/need... If you dont want or cant bend a spoke to the right shape, just order...

    i dont see the problem to buy and bent a straight spoke to the right angle by yourself... at the end you are a DIY-guy...if you can open hub motors, repair the halls and make thicker phase-wires...your should be able to bent a spoke to the right angle
