    LiPo balancing

    Hi guys, why do we balance charge LiPo at the top ie 4.15 or 4.2V per cell (depending on your needs)? Would it not be prudent to have the cells balanced at the bottom of their state of charge, thereby reducing the probability of 1 cell falling off the cliff? Cheers in advance, GT
