    E-Go Weight Reduction Mod

No, I don't use the battery pack any more. The battery holder wasn't secure enough and the batteries kept coming loose whilst riding. In the end I replaced the battery pack with a partly 3d printed frame. Unfortunately I was a little careless when setting up the electrical contacts and probably...

Single HUB motor, VESC Loaded Dervish Build

Doesn't the deck touch the motor casing when you're turning with it dropped through like that? I've been wanting to upgrade to a tan tien + lever hubs from my e-go, but it's never looked like the hubs would provide enough clearance for the drop-thru. Maybe the newer 83mm hubs, but even those use...

Building an Electric Skateboard - im in too deep

Did you connect the 2 3S batteries in series to get 6S 5000mah? Because it looks to me that the ESC is only rated for 2-4S on the HobbyKing page. "Input Voltage: 2~4 Cell Lipoly" It also has over-voltage protection for voltage more than 5S. "Over input voltage protection: Above 5S" If you want...

So I bought a lathe...and made Hub Motors

Will the motor being further along the truck prevent the V2s with being used with drop through or drop down decks?

    battery dying?

If you haven't already try checking the sport/eco mode switch on the remote. The switch doesn't hold to the sport position well and it's quite easy to set it back to eco during normal usage. My non-modified Ego had speed issues for a couple of charges as well. Think it was the switch thing, but...

    50% off motors

The html version of the email is here (same link as when you click on the "If you have trouble seeing..." Mostly high Kv motors, unlikely to be of much interest. http://p6trc.emv2.com/HM?b=x9pGBPIY0eL_AwV6RLBPanfrvpJPeedxPi1XUlEWPe4ajiPVBGcx6ezMRZr1J9nz&c=D_BwuS8gGqsve9lYauP6qw

    E-Go Weight Reduction Mod

Hey Endless Sphere, So I discovered these forums when looking for e-skateboard reviews. In the end I went with a Yuneec E-go. However, I've never been fully satisfied with it and after browsing this board endlessly (hah) I had a bit of a DIY itch that needed scratching. Jacob's post here...

    E-GO Cruiser MOD

I'm pretty sure that the E-GO is 7s3p, not 7p3s. The battery pack is rated at 29.4V which is 4.2V x 7, as is the charger. I've put together a 7s1p battery pack myself using Efest 18650s, and the board starts and runs like normal, though I've not taken it out for a ride yet.

So I bought a lathe...and made Hub Motors

Those look great! Would you mind weighing them and telling me how much a full set of 2 trucks, 2 hub motors + wheels and 2 wheels weighs? Also what angle of base plate are those Paris trucks using?

    OpenSource Handheld Controller (E-go similar)

Yes, the E-go remote has a spring to bring the throttle back to neutral. The spring means that the board automatically starts to decelerate if you take your thumb off the throttle. Possibly safer and provides more feedback to the user, though not having a spring is also sort of an innate cruise...
