    Spoke tightening video

not to mention the truing of the wheel! You can't just tighten everything equally.

Not an ebike...but look at this tall frame craziness!

Thats Brad or Matt Daugherty (sp) who was a national champion at North Carolina. He was 7'.

New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

I had a feeling you didn't and I doubt I could explain it to you.

New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

You do understand that a luge chute isn't really like the real world? ;) Physics DOES apply!

New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

Said the guy that hasn't done it! "Seem" ;) You say 36. Hit 40. Report back if there's a difference. ;) (report back on the difference) Oh, and don't forget to turn in that run. No straight line bs.

Start of my second trike build.

Nice. What did the 7spd setup cost you? I"m pondering going to that when my freewheel is shot. don't need 10 spds

    Crank Forward Pedelec Question

I have a Rans Dynamik similar to that and was considering it for E assist. Very good quality bike as a base. Much more capable than a townie.

Stromer rear hub motor help :D

FWIW, with the matching battery that is a monster strong motor/system. Their cheapest bike is 4k and thought of as the "Mercedes" of E bikes. Big, heavy, strong as hell. It's a great motor (assuming it's a new model, I don't know about their old stuff) and well worth springing for a display

    Falco e-Motors

Lizard Skin on the way. Didn't know they were still around. We used to use them on brake and clutch levers on dirt motorcycles 30 years ago. :) I think I was wrong in thinking I was experiencing thermal cutoffs. The console (display) controls are a bit confusing as the buttons all have...

    New Bafang Crank-Drives

3,000 miles would hardly seem a ringing endorsement. Nor making a lot of noise at 2500. :(

I think what is "normal" for normal bikes and wheels is not necessarily applicable to this situation. But even then spokes loosen and bend when the wheel flexes enough or hits something hard. it happens. Nothing to do with the wheel build quality. You're going faster with a much heavier wheel...

I am into my 2nd week riding my Catrike Expedition with the HX500 built into a 24" rear wheel. I'm loving it. Did 10 'hard' quick miles tonight at sunset with boost at 3 most of the ride and 5 for the last couple. Motor never seemed to reduce power for heat in this shorter but more intensive...

    Which hub motor?

My Falco rear wheel gearless hub motor has no noticable drag when peddling. The wheel does not spin out as much when you pick up the back end and spin it, but you really can't feel that when peddling. You CAN feel the extra 20lbs and no doubt some of that is drag, but it's pretty minimal.

    Best Ebike chain.

I've seen it said that the 7spd chains were bigger and stronger than 8-10spd setups. I can't personally verify that.

New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

I hope someone involved understands the inherent handling dynamics of a tadpole trike!!! I've owned 8 and have a Falco powered Catrike Expedition right now. There's not a one I'd want to go 40mph on! Handling gets downright squirrally at 30+ on most trikes as the frame and wheels starts to...

I have a collection of cables that go from USB to what looks like a serial (?) printer cable port that came with my kit. Bet that's what it's for? ! :)

Ok, thanks for the history lesson. Now if your through with your pissing contest there are some of us actual users that would like to discuss the setup on the Falco forum without wading through the BS. Thanks. 8)

The Park - FR-1.2 is the correct tool, that looks like it. But you'll still have to drill it out to fit over the axle. That's why the part is $20+ from Falco. Bike shop charged me $15 to drill mine out (I bought from them for $8) and swap out the old 9 spd for my 10 spd. It's hardened steel...

    Falco e-Motors

I bought it used, 6 months old from a guy that bought it from Utah Trikes. It's a really nice setup isn't it? SO many setup options and controls that it was very confusing until I watched all the videos and read everything. But now that i'm getting there, it's an awfully sweet setup. I love...

Got my Falco setup on my Catrike Expedition this weekend. First ride this afternoon. WOW! Quiet as heck, very very little resistance peddling. Smooth as heck. 500w 36v 11.6ah
