    Open a q128c

This is my tool. It takes quite some force to open, this one was just strong enough (I din't heat up the hub). You might even want to use som heavier steel.

S-LCD to S12S controller communication protocol hacked

In addition to the above, i found out the following: I have an S06S, the protocol is the same. Regarding the S12SN to LCD3 communication protocol: B2: is the controller voltage. I have a 24/36 V controller with a 36 V battery and B2 reads 36 in my case. B6: B0 is not included in the CRC B8...

Passion eBike 6 FET Kunteng Controller (S06S)

Have a look at this schematic. It's not the same controller, but I think its very similar. http://www.avdweb.nl/Article_files/Solarbike/Motor-controller/China-BLDC-motor-controller-36V-250W.pdf

    Battery charging away from home

Don't be afraid for the end of free charging. In the Netherlands e-bikes are quite populair. The country is loaded with charge point for e-bikes, often located at bars, restaurants etc. https://www.fietsnetwerk.nl/fietsoplaadpunten or https://www.oplaadpunten.nl/ (select fiets). I have not much...

Passion eBike 6 FET Kunteng Controller (S06S)

I think the probe was connected to one of the phase wires to the motor. The scope is set to 1 V/div and i guess the 10x divider on the probe is set, so that gives about 24 V peak. It's on a 36 V battery. But I'm not sure, it's too long ago. My pcb is excactly the same as as fellow's, with the...

Passion eBike 6 FET Kunteng Controller (S06S)

I had my S06S from BMSBattery on the scope a while ago. This is the "sine wave" they sell it for: Besides the noise the proportion of the rising an falling edges compared to the block looks the same as yours. It's definitly not a sine wave, but not a straigh block either. I think Suzhou...

Q100C CST rolling resistance / friction?

Same here (Q100 motor not laced yet). My first thought was it is the resistance from the seals of the bearings, but it seams a little much for just that. Maibe a combinatiuon of that and the resistance of the gears.

Has anyone reverse engineerd those $10 BMSes from eBay?

Thanks for sharing. Do you think there is a way to alter the OVP level? I have the same BMS but it is build in, so it's hard to do research on it. There is a little SMD component left to the connector with "431" printed on it. This could be a 4.3V zener diode (according to this site). Maybe...

Are any good those cheap 10$ BMS from eBay?

I'm curious for opinions too. I have the 10 dollar BMS for my 10S3P pack. The $30 is reduced to $20 at the moment. I see the 2 more expensive ones have bigger heatsinks, buts thats all I can tell. The 10$ one is suitable for 30A too, and it is small in size (thats an important thing for me). I...

    what hub motor is this?

If you don't know the brand of the motor, you can't be sure. But this may give you a starting point: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=58451 It looks like the colors match with this controller: https://bmsbattery.com/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=19 In this...

    what hub motor is this?

Stefanus, If the motor is not labeled, then it could be a Q85 from bmsbattery, or similar. See this post how to open: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43420 I guess the controller is in the battery pack. This document may be helpfull for hall sensor testing...

    Q100 paint job

Hi all, I received my Q100 motor from BMSBattery. I was suspecting a nice, shiny silver polished motor, but it turned out to be painted black, dispite the picture on the website and all the other pictures i've seen on the internet of this motor. Although the color is not specified one the...

Making a through hole in a bikes head tube

I still like the idea of getting into the tubes through the head tube and reinforce the head tube with an extra tube inside. I totaly agree that this it not a rock solid frame, and I have no idea if that extra reinforcement is enough. But the lugs are left intact, so the connections of the down...

Making a through hole in a bikes head tube

OK, I reconsider about using the top tube. Only the seat tube and down tube may be enough space. Nice thougth for the extra top tube Tamaranchorider. It is a nice solution, but more for a transport bike or something. A frame bag as Joachim suggest is something to consider. I have a nice tire...

Making a through hole in a bikes head tube

Thanks for all the sugestions. The battery setup will be 10S3P. I can fit 24 cells in the tubes if I use all the three main tubes. Maybe even 27 if i'm lucky. The rest of the cells wil go into a water bottle together with the controller and BMS. Putting all batteries in a second bottle is an...

Making a through hole in a bikes head tube

First of all, thanks for all the information on the forum, its been a great resource so far. I would like to hear your opinion about making two through holes in a bikes head tube. A little background first. I'm starting with my first conversion, most of the parts I need are ordered last week...
