California CVC 406(b)-What constitutes a "Motorized Bicycle"

This has probably been talked to death here, but I'd like to post what I've found. A friend of mine mentioned that part of my commute was on National Park territory - and it specifically states on an official sign: "No Motorized Bicycles" - according to him. So it comes to the definition of...

Has anyone used a mid-drive with old style bottom bracket?

I have an old Worksman frame with the one piece crank style bottom bracket. I know there are converters to make it a standard 68mm 3piece crank style, but I'm afraid that adding that much space would be too wide for a mid drive, like the Bafang BBS02. Has anyone done it?

Commute - charge both at home and at work?

I bought a Pedego recently, and their web site says to keep it fully charged and to charge the battery even after a short ride. Does that mean that if I commute, I should charge it at work as well as home? Or is it enough to just charge when I get home?

Will this Yescom kit suffice for Worksman INB?

I'm putting together a cruiser ebike from a Worksman INB frame and fork, and with all the reading I've done, Yescom gets good marks/good price, and to avoid the 135mm rear requirement (and they're out of the rear ones anyway), I think I'll go with front drive...

Can you fit a mid drive motor inside frame triangle?

I think mid drive is the way I want to go. Has anyone fit on inside a frame triangle rather than under the bottom bracket?

Advice and suggestions needed for cruiser build -HBBC Delux

I'm considering a build based on the Delux cruiser from HBBC. I'm thinking Yescom for the kit - something 500W or more, and mechanical disc brakes, because I don't want to bother with hydraulic. And Ping battery, very likely. Any advice on the kit is appreciated. I'd love it if the battery...

Breezer 3spd - good conversion candidate? - newbie

It's that time of year again, when I start thinking about eBiking to work. I like the non-derailleur mult-gear bikes for aesthetic simplicity, and if it's going to be an ebike, it really doesn't matter all that much. From what I've read though, it seems like a better method for building is to...

Does one eBike stand out as best?

Sorry for the obvious newbie question, but I'm trying to find the best manufactured eBikes made. There doesn't seem to be one leader in the pack. The Giant Suede seems to be a good compromise between cost and performance. What are some others that I should consider? My criteria are - somewhere...
