Hi everyone I have been an ES lurker for quite sometime but have not had anything to contribute so have avoided becoming a spammer of sorts.

However now I need some help on my learning curve.

I have a couple of bikes with 24v chinese front hub motor kits powered by SLA batteries im trying to find information on what they are? we bought these to start our ebike journey and give it a go. to experiment/learn and then have something to compare when upgrading, as it appears 24v is a bit of a joke now. I feel the more volts bug biting!

Here are a couple of pics that someone may know by looking at. I have searched all over the place for weeks but cant find anything so im sorry if this has been asked somewhere already.

has anybody created an identification manual/ album I could look at.

im really after a wiring diagram and what type motor I have?

thanks in advance

Not crystalyte 400 series motors, but inside I bet they are pretty similar.

What would I do with those? Chuck the controller, and get a 20 amps 36v controller off ebay. Look for the self learning function. Then it will map out the right combination to run by itself. You just match up wires to the motor by color.

That motor should run fine on 36v 20amps, about 700-800w.
