3kw eBike Build Questions

Hi there, 70kph is very fast for an ebike, even if you insist on high speeds you'll need fat tires for better traction.
As far as the motor and controller for standard conversion kits available from grin, you could do what you are asking for with the crown series.

Where the load line (wind drag, resistance in wheels) and the motor power ouput (actual power output of motor) line cross gives your top speed. The final temperature is the temperature of the motor after 2 hours of operation under these conditions, it is 84 degrees which is a little high. The cruising speed here is actually 65, the phaserunner as far as I understand is about the max current that you can supply with a conversion kit. If you really want to go that fast, you'll have to consider the dropouts needing to be wide enough to support the motor. Even decreasing your top speed by 10 to 15 km/h will give you plenty of options. My bike does 60 and with regular tires this is certainly more than enough and is a bit uncomfortable.
