Adding hall sensors to outrunners

Hi, could you review my math?

I have made the calculations according to what I have understood reading this thread
but the result seems strange to me because they are very close

The motor has 28 magnets and 24 slots

28/2=14 electrical revolutions
360/14 = 25.71 degrees for each electrical revolution
25.71/3 = 8.5714º separation between each hall sensor

it's okay?

Ok, thanks!, i want to build this small PCB and use SMD sensors, Let's see if this works!

Better use normal halls than the smd hall sensors, these won't be in the right direction towards the magnets. Could work like you sketched it but it's a gamble
