AIR FREE TIRES???

- Have any of you guys heard of airless tires?
- Do you know of anyone using them?
- I think it would be a good investment, well for the rear tire at least considering it takes forever to change a flat tire with a non hub motor.

Do you know of anyone using them? No.

I think the reason very few use them is because of the horridly high rolling resistance, or so I've read. I was interested in this subject a while back, but I think plenty do pretty well with tires like marathon plus in combination with tire liners, thick inner tubes and some form of slime filler stuff.
Rolling resistance is a pretty important idea.

If airless tires were close to .005 - .006, I'd probably give them a shot assuming they had some kind of guarantee.
