Altairnano ships 24V/22Ah batteries to the Army

The news just hit the wires an hour ago.
The 24V 22Ah batteries include a BMS and were chosen for their long life and durability. Considering it must operate in desert conditions and brutal conditions, I don't think they are duct tape packs! Now to figure out how to get two or four of those.

The Army has 40 of those batteries and they are going to test them,
If they like them, I can see orders into the thousands for that setup. The Hummers run on 24V so the Altairnano LiTi might be used for many different things from weapon systems to vehicles. What I learned is those prismatic cells are at 22 Ah, I thought they only made 100Ah + cells. Live and learn and ponder two of them for a spicy 48V/22Ah pack for my Norco build. If they can handle war, they should be able to handle me.
