My chainring is a 38t and my cassette is 11-28t. I don't know which nuvinci hubs Dan broke.

You are running a 35" low gear, and my current gear comes in at 29". So, if i maintain my current ratio i should have no problem. Even if i keep my 16 in the back it will be a 31" gear with the 44.
