Battery Compatibility Question; Differing C rates?

Hi ES,

My exact type of battery just went out of production or something and can only find a similar model from the same company.

I'm running Floureon 4s 13000mah 25c batteries in series. One cell died, therefore I am purchasing another battery. The closest thing I have found available is a Floureon 4s 13000mah 35c; The only difference being the C rating. My first instinct is that this is decently acceptable, but knowing how adamant you all are about using only exactly similar batteries, I figured your advice couldn't hurt.

Is a different C rating, but the same battery voltage, mah, and manufacturer going to mess me up?

If you take care about balancing - no problem.

No big deal, just that the entire battery will still be the lower c rate. if one section is series connected with one of higher c rate that is.

If you do parallel them, it will work out better for balancing if they are paralleled with same, then only series connected with the different.
