Hello,

First, i have been searching many times but cant find proper info on this. Seems like a basic question but..

Bafang BBS02 500W comes in both 36 and 48 Volt versions.

I read on another forum:
Ideally you want the motor to be at about 2/3 its maximum speed at your natural cadence. If it can spin faster, it's efficiency will reduce while pedalling, or yours will.
78RPM is where the motor produces maximum power for 36V BBS01 and BBS02, 96RPM for the 48V BBS02.

1: is the above statements true? in that case why would anybody want a 48V version? 96rpm cadence is far too fast to keep up, 78rpm is much more comfortable pedal speed.
2: Does the 36V version have more torque at same speed due to the higher ampere?
3: What are the pros and cons of 36/48V versions?
