Broken wattsup meter

Hi, I connected my wattsup to the wrong battery 86V and now the display doesn't work! Can it be fixed?

Anything can be fixed... but probably not worth the effort/expense. Send it to Amberwolf instead of the dump... he'll eat anything. :D
 
Well, I could probalby use it, but if you want to fix it I'd bet that all that's wrong is the same thing I blew up in my Turnigy Watt Meter when I did the exact same thing (72V nominal NiMH). :lol:

The TWM is a clone of the WU; you can see the guts are almost identical, if you look the original TWM thread here; I think there are even schematics:

It might be repairable, but I don't hold much hope. The two overvolted ones that I saw killed the processor and LCD. :cry:
