Just another build thread.

First build and taking advantage of some Black Friday sales I got a good deal on Chromag Wideangle Hardtail and CYC Photon From Electrify Bike Co.

Mostly this will be a fun commuter on trail and to tow around my daughter and trailer in double track.

Got a little work to do, trying our where I like the controls before I tidy up the cable management, add magura brakes, and a dropper. Looks like it will all go nicely on stock cable management.

Build:
Photon cyc
10amp hr Mini Max
Chromag Wide Angle and Zeb 160mm
RF Arc 35 wheels on dtswiss hubs
Magura Sport trails enroute, old XTs for now.
burgtec Enduro Bars
One up Dropper and Chromag seat waiting for install.

"Finished" it off... for now!

Got the Magura sport trail brakes and One up dropper installed.

Cables routed, left them long, at the same length as the electrical harness, was easiest and allows for a bar rotation without anything getting tugged.

Spiral loom, cheap and not too bad looking.

The stock throttle is oddly shaped and didn't fit on either side of the right hand shifter so it stays on the left until I can find a slimmer replacement, intensions are PAS mode mostly though.

Overall I'd this bike is great for an ebike conversion with the small and straight downtube and cable mounts on both top tube and downtube. I got this frame for 500CAD and the had completes with GX parts and nice Chromag finishing kits for 1800cad, pretty decent for trail grade parts.

Now just gotta get the tune right in the CYC app, little more delay and kick that I prefer, gonna see if i can shorten the delay and soften the ramp.
