Juss a few basic questions about the HC model...

I got a 50mV/600A shunt this mean its 0,0833mOhm right?
With this shunt the CA must be set to high range mode right?
I did alittle test run but with the default setting wich was 0,5mOhm and I was getting wierd readings. I guess this will change when the shunt is set to 0,0833mOhm in the CA.

Do you know what the max clearance between the magnet on the wheel and the pickup is? I got about 9mm and it seems to be reading the speeds just fine but could the big clearance affect the precision?

can't help you with the resistance numbers.. but i can confirm that the magnet has to be pretty close and 9mm is about the max that will register.

Spacers behind the pickup to push it closer to the magnet is one way, lower on the fork arm to work the spoke angle to your advantage.. etc.. i try to get it as close as possible .. like 2mm
