I just found this in my endless search to find a 72v charger compatible with the Open BMS.

Some stores selling it:

http://www.golfcarcatalog.com/catalog/index.cfm?fuseaction=product&theParentId=1792&id=5350

Has anyone heard of this before? It seems to be shooting for the same niche as the Zivan charger.

Here are the tech specs

Zero motorcycles uses a Delta-Q from photos I've seen.

Don't know much else. I think they will punch out custom charge profiles at the request of clients too :p

Don't see why it wouldn't work. In my experience with the delta q series chargers is that they have specific charging profiles for types of battery systems. So, you would need to know exactly what lithium batteries you are using along with the type of BMS system you are using. Its got to be a feasible option for you. I bought a 48 volt charger not to long ago and had it programmed for free. I think the site was https:// www. cartpros.com/delta-q-chargers.html. Anyways, best of luck

DeltaQ chargers are used on Polaris Ranger EV and Can-Am Commander E vehicles, as well as on Zero Motorcycles (as external charger) like was mentioned above. They're solid industrial-grade chargers with programmable profiles. Profile groups can be loaded with special programmer, and then switching between the profiles can be done by the end user. I have one that is programmed for Lithium, and profile switching only picks between different voltages. Judging by the Lead-Acid profiles the charger can also regulate current output, but I haven't seen that with Lithium profiles.

for lipo there is no need to have anything else then the maximum current.
