Disk brakes on a rear 9C

Am I correct in assuming that if you installed a rear 9C and put disk brakes on it, then there would be no problem with the rim offset? I'm not familiar with disk brakes at all, never having owned a bike with them.

Asking as I can see that ebikes.ca has them in now.
 
Well, the rear 9C rim offset issue seems independent of whether or not it's equipped with a disk brake.

I fitted a disk brake onto my AmpedBikes (9C) rear hubmotor. Later, I rebuilt the wheel (RhynoLite rim /Wheelsmith DH13 spokes) and added some dishing to help minimize the rim offset. The disk rotor and caliper positions remain unchanged.

Since at that time, I had found little/no info online regarding such a disk brake conversion, I created a thread on the AmpedBikes FAQ forum to share my experience for others who might be considering such a project.
