A new review on two newer smaller form factor controllers. No more need to print a BadWolf v2 enclosure and no soldering required

Left - http://diyelectricskateboard.com/product/torqueboards-2-4ghz-mini-remote-controller/
Right - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WQP6560

I've tested out the one on the left and works great. Seems like throttle is a lot shorter than GT2B but just by a bit.. Hasn't dropped yet. The small form factor is nice..

I'll test out the BenchWheel remote tomorrow also and see how that works out.

Not sure what you mean by generic. I tested the one on the left. You still need to buy the TX and RX from the same source. Can't mix and much TX and RX. In that sense, there is no difference from GT2B.

The one on the right is called Generic. Of course, remote is paired with TX and RC and yes very similar to GT2B just smaller form factor.

Generic looks to be rechargeable? Any idea on runtime and standby time?

Similarly for the Small one on left - batteries (looks to have a screw securing door)? Run time?

Look like solid options - the generic one might be perfect for GF who like thumb throttle better than GT2B/Badwolf v2.

What does your new remote look like with the steering wheel removed? Does it come off?

Can that servo be configured to control something else? horn or lights or something?

Definitely good to have smaller remote choices :)
