Hi everyone,

I just purchased this controller:
12 FET IRFB3077 INFINEON CONTROLLER (MOTOR WITH HALL SENSORS)
http://em3ev.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=81

Does anyone know the name of the connector type used on the throttle/cruise plug and on the e-brake plug? I'd rather not cut the wires on the controller to match my throttle etc...

Thanks

It's not that big of a deal to cut the controller or component wiring imo, when you are cutting either. I don't know if I ever knew the name of them, but they are really big and I switched everything to smaller jst's. The larger stock connectors on what I assume to be alot of this gear are similar with the crimp pins and receivers arrangeable in housings, but just alot bigger. Bigger than they need to be, save for battery and phase connections.

I'd suggest just asking Paul @ em3. Perhaps if the stuff hasn't shipped yet he can even include some mating ends for odd components you'll source elseware.

I'd be interested to know what current these controllers are good for and whether mods like beefing up the traces are recommended?

If it helps here is the connector identifier: http://electro-customs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/EM3ev-Infineon-connections-_V2-CA_.pdf

From memory it's mostly correct to current models - good enough to get you there.
