16" front wheels
20" rear wheel

Do you think this is a good platform? Need somthing for winter..

Unless you are familiar with this particular trike, it would be hard to judge seat comfort, seat angle from an internet site.

Also getting to check out the clearance where the hub motor would fit.

They do have cheaper ones, such as Terra Trike, but best to visit a local shop, do a long test ride for comfort, do measurements where stuff would mount, etc.

The seller is asking $1100 for the cattrike. Is it better than the KMX? A new KMX can be had cheaper:

Looks pretty good to me, it seems higher spec than the mid range KMX. If it was local to me, I'd buy it!

That like comparing a Kia to a BMW. Kia being the KMX.
But the KMX frame being square and steel is easy to modify and is bullet proof, the Catrike is all aluminium, light fast and more comfortable, do you know the model and year of the Catrike?

The model is a 2003 speed.

Review of the Catike, it's the road model but the 2003 speed gets a lot of mentions, the actual speed review has gone walkabout. http://www.bentrideronline.com/reviews/xclass/kmxx.htm

Pure human powered it would be no contest but as an electric assist the contest gets much closer.

The Craigslist posting was deleted. I suppose that the trike sold, or that the seller may have had second thoughts. I'm selling a TriCruiser for 50 under retail, but I can only sell locally because I've assembled it, and it is indeed enormous.

For $900 retail, I think this is a great deal if you are willing to put up with the quirks of an SLA system. It would be far better as an NiMH instead, and the price would not be that much out of line.

A trike is a real trip to ride. You have no "lean" like on a bike, so taking tight corners carefully is imperitive. But the PAYLOAD is enormous. You could probably stack about 500 # of stuff on here if you had the tires to handle the load!
