Are there some long term reviews of batteries from http://www.ev-power.eu/ aka GWL on the endless sphere forums?

I am surprised that i have only just seen this shop, perhaps it has been under-advertised to the endless sphere users, because, in the EU we have 17-20 percent import duties, so it would be awesome to have anything reliable at all that can be sourced form within europe...

So, can you find some results of builds on these forums using GWL? i need some info.

My friend wants a 10-15 ah bike at the moment to do some commuting, i would be happy to get a 9c motor and preferably a sensorless infineon for it and 3 of these http://www.ev-power.eu/LiFeYPO4-batteries-12V-1-1/Lithium-Battery-LiFePO4-12V-20Ah.html?cur=1 or 12 of these: http://www.ev-power.eu/LiFePO4-small-cells/LiFePO4-High-Power-Cell-3-2V-20Ah.html?cur=1

And so i see on the forum, i want to learn something about the shop and the long term reliability reviews and so on? at the end of the day it saves on fuel consumption to get things locally.

some lithium titanate reviews too... http://gwl-power.tumblr.com/tagged/LTO seems one of a kind shop in EU, where are the ES users?

EDIT... here are some related topics:
the 20ah 3.2v battery: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3637
conclusion of that thread: no actual reviews yet.

My first Ebike kit was bought from GWL in 2010.
A 9c front hub kit with a 36v 20Ah battery and still working with no problems.
It's a good shop, but there are others in the EU.
Depends on what you want.
You can also look at eclipsebikes in UK, fasterbikes in Austria and 4motus in Lithuania for example.

I do not see their pricing as trully honest.

They shown prices with out VAT and the same product in another shop is sold 10% less by including VAT.
In conclusion they seem 30% more expensive.

GWL / EV-power / i4wifi are all the same enterprise.

This is a scam.

Or maybe is just an error in the price.

For example, on the opposite, the kits are a lot cheaper for English speaking Europeans:

I already bought some items from them and they seem very professional and will help you with all the problems or doubts that you have.

I have found that the 3.2v 20AH battery is a rebranded GBS battery. electric car forums says that they aren't well regarded.

The shop is okay, only that, compared to a shop that sells an array of motors, controllers, batteries, of known kinds, they aren't for an informed ebiker.

The added VAT after the original quote is indeed annoying... adding VAT, battery connectors, bms, adds alot to the quote. if they are GBS batteries, they should be marked GBS.

I'd encourage them to get some quality gear to sell us at competetive prices, there isn't a shop in the UK with choice of anything like as high quality as ebikes.ca

Those prices are a steal in my opinion. You can build the same in less than 8 hours by yourself at 1/3 the price. If You want to buy a finished battery pack in the EU there are not honest/rasonable price vendors known yet. There are some aliexpress/ebay sellers that have real brand high quality lowcost packs at half that price duty charges included

Hi !
GWL deliver larger batteries to me and my buisness.
They have good prices and they ship really fast.

Smallest cells I have bought is 40ah.
Also for people in EU they have really fair prices for shipping.....

I would recommend them if it was larger cells.
For Bike parts and smaller cells I have no experince buying from them.

I have bought smaller stuff from places like BMSBattery and they have frocked up more than once.
