If you check out my old thread:

I have decided I am going to build a battery pack out of A123 cells because of their superior cycle life to other cells. After looking around, I couldn't find a great price on A123 18650 cells with the cheapest from Fasttech at over $2.50 per cell. Then I found GWL power who are selling A123 cells for $1.49 per cell:
https://www.ev-power.eu/LiFePO4-small-cells/A123-Rechargeable-Battery-3-3V-1100-mAh-LiFePO4.html

Now this leaves me with a few questions:

1. Is this site legit, I can't seem to find a huge amount of information about it or experiences of other people purchasing from this site on the internet.

2. (more importantly). I live in the US and they are an EU based company, do they even ship to the US?

Has anyone had experience with ordering stuff from GWL power and if so, can you share them?

Never heard of them.

Never seen them mentioned here.

They have been mentioned here before:

But yeah, the price really seems to scream "scam". Although sometimes you never really know, there are some great deals to be had out there. In fact about a month ago I purchased 3500mah LG MJ1 cells for $1 a piece from imrbatteries.com and made a great small ebike pack out of them. So you really never know...

I'm UK-based and ordered ~US$2.5k-worth of Li cells from them a few years back and was happy with the transaction. However, 3 weeks ago I tried to order 2 chargers and after 3 weeks have given up and cancelled the order as their ordering system is archaic and their communications dreadful. Don't waste your time with them is my advice.
