Hello, I am looking at getting a Hilleater Galiano Phaserunner SE 52V for my commute in Vancouver, BC Canada. I currently have an OHM XU700 with the Bionx 500w rear hub motor. I want more power for the really steep hills I will have to do. I do love the torque sensor/pedal programing of the Bonix system. Its so good. Im not really a fan of mid drive. I like the fact I can throttle with a rear drive and not worry so much about gears and less maintenance. I like the fact that Hilleater is somewhat local.
Specs of the Hilleater Galiano Phaserunner SE 52V
Grin GMAC geared motor with variable regen braking
90 Nm of torque off the line
1500 watts of peak hill climbing
Grin Baserunner advanced motor controller capable of up to 30A
the ability to update and modify in the future
Are there any other bikes that come close to these specs and are Canadian? I did look at the Rize RX but the bike is mid drive and their customer service was pretty lacking.
Cheers
